Applications Open for FFA STEM After-School Grants from PSO Foundation

May 8, 2025

TULSA, Okla. (May 8, 2025) – This fall, Oklahoma FFA chapters will have the opportunity to turn their STEM ideas into reality because of a $50,000 grant by the Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) Foundation to the Oklahoma FFA Foundation. Oklahoma FFA chapters located in areas served by PSO can now apply to the Oklahoma FFA Foundation for a STEM After-School grant.

Each grant awards eligible FFA chapters up to $2,500 to help fund unique and engaging STEM projects designed by students themselves. Projects from previous years range from vet science equipment to greenhouse watering systems. Traditionally, the best chance to be chosen for a grant is to submit a project that benefits more than one chapter and that is sustainable over multiple years.

“We continue to be inspired every year by the ingenuity and creativity of Oklahoma FFA students,” said Tiffini Jackson, FFA Foundation Board Member and PSO External Affairs Vice President. “This grant seeks to reward that work ethic and give FFA Chapters across the state a boost to their STEM education.”

Grant applications are available here and will be accepted through May 16.
