PSO Files Proposal to Purchase Natural Gas Generation Plant in Oklahoma

TULSA, Okla. (September 16, 2024) – Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) filed for Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) approval to purchase a natural gas combined-cycle generation plant located in Jenks, Oklahoma. This purchase will meet customers’ projected power needs using an existing local facility while supporting the Oklahoma economy.

PSO Announces Significant Mutual Aid Restoration Efforts in Arkansas from May 25 Tornadoes

TULSA, Okla. (May 27, 2024) – Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) has stepped up to assist their sister utility Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) in northwest Arkansas to restore power to the communities affected by Sunday morning’s tornadoes.

PSO Announces Significant Restoration Work from May 6 Barnsdall Bartlesville EF-4 Tornado

TULSA, Okla. (May 8, 2024) – Significant restoration has been achieved for PSO customers in the Bartlesville and Barnsdall area effected by the May 6th category EF-4 tornado.  As of today at noon, approximately 5,864 PSO customers have had power restored with the remaining 3,000 customers estimated to receive power between today and tomorrow at 11 p.m. Thursday.
