TULSA, Okla. (August 26, 2025) – The Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) Foundation has awarded $40,519 in STEM After-school Grants to 28 FFA chapters across Oklahoma, supporting innovative science, technology, engineering, and math projects for the 2025-2026 school year.
These grants will empower students in hands-on learning through projects in hydroponics, animal science, food safety, and agricultural technology. From building chicken coops and broiler production systems to launching 3D modeling and electrification initiatives, the program is designed to spark curiosity and career readiness in agriculture-related STEM fields.
Each winning chapter will be recognized at the upcoming FFA Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) conferences, held across five regional events in late August and September.
“These projects showcase the creativity and drive of Oklahoma’s FFA students as they tackle real-world challenges with skills they learn through STEM activities,” said Tiffini Jackson, PSO External Affairs Vice President, who reviews applications for grants on behalf of the PSO Foundation and volunteers as an FFA Foundation Board Member. “From sustainable agriculture to advanced technology, the work being done in these chapters is laying the foundation for future innovation in our communities.”
The FFA STEM After-school Grant program is part of the PSO Foundation’s broader effort to promote academic achievement and workforce development across the state.
