Supply Chain Disruptions

November 12, 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many industries to experience inventory issues. Labor shortages nationwide are also impacting everything from package delivery to holiday shopping and more.

The electric utility industry is no exception. We’re currently experiencing limited delays in getting some materials as our manufacturing partners struggle to obtain necessary raw materials.  Temporary supply material shortages include transformers, overhead wire, meter bases and crossarms.

We’re taking proactive steps to review all scheduled work, substitute available materials when possible, and communicate with our suppliers to get updates on the timing and delivery of materials. If you have any questions, reach out to your customer service account representative for how this temporary supply constraint might affect your project.

It’s our job to keep the power on, and as always we’ll continue to restore power as quickly and safely as possible in the event of an outage. As we head into winter storm season, now is a great time to review your emergency preparedness plan and also ensure we have your best contact information at psoklahoma.com/Account.

We’re committed to updating our customers should anything change.
