PSO is issuing this 2023 All-Source RFP, targeting 1,500 megawatts (MW) of SPP accredited capacity through a combination of Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSA), Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and Capacity Purchase Agreements (CPA). A portion of this need may be fulfilled through the utilization of PSO’s existing interconnection rights at select generation sites.
Generation resources must have an expected Commercial Operation Date (COD) by 12/15/2027 or alternatively 12/15/2028. The generation resources may include but are not limited to renewables (wind, solar and battery storage) and thermal (natural gas-fired generation, hydrogen and other resources).
