Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) has named Larry Clifton as the new supervisor for PSO crews and servicers in Elk City, Clinton and Weatherford. As Supervisor, Distribution System (SDS), Clifton oversees the area’s three line crews and nine servicers.
A 28-year veteran of the electric utility industry, Clifton has more than 10 years experience as an SDS in both Matador and Cisco, Texas. Following his recent appointment, Clifton’s first move was to relocate the SDS position from Clinton to Elk City.
“Things are really busy in Elk City due to the latest oil boom, which also has caused a boom in local construction – meaning we’re busy getting service to these new homes and businesses,” said Clifton. “It’s a great time to be here in Elk City and I’m really looking forward to being a part of the community.”
Clifton and his wife, Deidra, have two children and two grandchildren.
