Live Webcast Scheduled Of Panel Presentation Featuring AEP Executive At Wells Fargo Conference

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 2, 2010 – A live audio webcast has been scheduled of a panel presentation featuring Lisa Barton, senior vice president – transmission strategy and business development for American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP), Dec. 8 at the 9th Annual Wells Fargo Pipeline, MLP and Energy Symposium in New York.

The presentation, titled “Transmission: Perspectives on Grid Development and Policies,” is scheduled for 8 a.m. EST and can be accessed through the Internet at http://www.aep.com/investors/webcasts/. The webcast also will be available after the live event.

American Electric Power is one of the largest electric utilities in the United States, delivering electricity to more than 5 million customers in 11 states.
