Accredited Deliverable Capacity RFP
Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO), an American Electric Power company, has issued an SPP Capacity RFP targeting 300 megawatts (MW) beginning in 2023/2024 through 2026/2027 of accredited deliverable electric generating capacity from one or more resources within the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) to supply the needs of PSO’s customers. Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria outlined in the final PSO Capacity RFP. Proposals must be for a capacity only product with a minimum term of one (1) year and a maximum term of four (4). Bidders may submit for multiple terms.
To qualify for consideration resources must interconnect to the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) RTO and proposals must be for a minimum quantity of 50 MW. Refer to the RFP for additional requirements (See Sections 4 and 8.2).
Proposals are due March 1, 2022. All proposal responses should be directed to the RFP Manager outlined in the RFP documents.
