PSO’s parent company, American Electric Power, has extensive experience in wind power:

• Monitored wind resources, including Oklahoma and Texas, since 1993
• Built Fort Davis Wind Farm, the first utility-scale wind farm in Texas, in 1995
• Partnered with FPL Energy in Southwest Mesa Wind Project at McCamey, Texas, in 1999
• Developed, owns and operates 150-MW Trent Wind Farm near Abilene, Texas, in 2001
• Purchased, owns and operates 160.5-MW Desert Sky Wind Farm in Pecos County, Texas, in 2001
• Announced Oklahoma wind power purchase agreement with FPL Energy in June 2004 (106.5 MW) with project online in April 2005. Announced 40.5-MW expansion scheduled for completion in December 2005.
• Announced Oklahoma wind power purchase agreements with Zilkha Renewable Energy in February and March 2005 for 151.2 MW total, scheduled for completion in December 2005.
