Oklahoma Wind Power Initiative (OWPI) – started in July 2000 as a long-term joint project between The University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. Funding support comes from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and the University Center for Energy Research at Oklahoma State University. American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) – information about all aspects of wind energy, including a summary of Oklahoma projects. The AWEA site also features information on small wind energy systems, including and an extensive FAQ and resources such as a column on residential zoning considerations. "If not wind ... then what?" is a web site providing resources and information about the importance of developing new clean, renewable, domestic wind energy resources. It is sponsored by the American Wind Energy Association. The Oklahoma Wind Power Assessment Committee, created by the Legislature, released its report and findings on Sept. 27, 2005.
