PSO is active in economic development activities across Oklahoma, helping communities to work together in regional approaches to achieve success.

PSO also holds a leadership position on the Governor's Economic Development Team and the company sponsors and participates in regional economic development events and activities.

To help businesses expand and locate in PSO service area, PSO and its parent, American Electric Power, also developed and maintain ProCure®, an online database of available buildings and locations.

PSO helps spur development in service area
The City of Afton recently held a groundbreaking and dedication for the new Littlefield Business Park, which is located east of Afton on U.S. 69. PSO extended electric service to the site and the company's Economic Development group will promote www.fastfacility.com to help the community market the site.

The new business park already has one new tenant - Craig General Hospital, which purchased 15 acres in the park for a new health clinic

Local officials turn the first shovels of dirt recently as the new Littlefield Business Park is set to take shape in the PSO-served town of Afton.
