Company women helped Project Hire stage a formal graduation ceremony for a Project Hire Class, an experience described as humbling and exciting. The young single parents descended the stairs at TTC auditorium, their faces smiling and cheeks streaked with tears, making all thrilled to be a part of the utility company's outreach into the community.

Friends and families of the graduates, Department of Human Resources case workers, Tulsa Technology Center Board members, teachers, and the utility company women all congratulated the graduates.

Days prior to the graduation, the company women hosted a makeover for the students, providing tips on makeup, hairdos and ushering each graduate through a Clothes Closet so they could select work attire for their first day on the job.

Project Hire is the signature community project for the PSO and AEP women of WINUP.
